Privacy notice

DrawSprout offers activities for children and their families and teachers. This notice describes the current release, including privacy-focused aggregate page counting.

Names, words and artwork

The worksheet and coloring tools process what you enter in your browser. Our code does not upload names, word lists, worksheet contents, coloring strokes or downloaded artwork. Work remains in the current tab until you save it or leave. Use a first name or nickname; no child account, birth date, email, photo, location or payment is requested.

Page counts

When a page becomes visible, our counter sends only that page’s path to a first-party endpoint on this website. It stores a daily total for each page. It does not create visitor IDs, use analytics cookies or browser storage, save IP addresses or browser fingerprints in the counter database, or send worksheet inputs, query strings or referrers.

Counts measure page views, not unique children or people. Reloads can add views; blocked requests and known bots may not be counted. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable the counting request. Days use UTC. Aggregated counts and popular-page totals are available to the site owner’s monitoring dashboard and the public counter endpoint; there are no individual browsing histories in that data. The count is not displayed publicly on activity pages; you can view the public count on the SitePulse dashboard.

Hosting and technical requests

The hosting service necessarily receives technical information, including an IP address, when delivering pages and processing requests. It may keep operational and security logs under its own policies. This is separate from the site’s aggregate counter; we cannot promise that the hosting provider keeps no logs.

Cookies and advertising

This release loads no advertising scripts and sets no site-added advertising or analytics cookies. AdSense ownership-verification information is present, but it does not itself load ads or tracking code.

If Google AdSense is activated later, this notice will be updated first. Advertising will use child-directed treatment, with personalized advertising and remarketing disabled. Non-personalized advertising can still involve cookies or device information, so applicable privacy notices and consent handling must also be in place. Downloads and sharing

Files you download are stored on your device. A file containing a child’s name can reveal that name if you send it to someone else. The site has no public uploads, comments, messaging or child profiles.

Retention

Worksheet contents are not retained by our server. Daily aggregate page counts are retained for historical traffic reporting; they cannot be used by this counter to identify or retrieve an individual child’s visits. Hosting-log retention is controlled by the hosting provider.

Changes to this notice

We will update the date and description before changing the site’s data practices, including before introducing advertising, contact forms or additional analytics.
